From First GCSE Cohort at Woolwich Polytechnic School for Girls to University of Oxford
Kiran has been part of a truly special journey.
In 2024, she was among the very first cohort of students to receive GCSE results at Woolwich Polytechnic School for Girls. We captured that memorable moment as she opened her results, achieving an impressive five Grade 9s, three Grade 8s and one Grade 7. At the time, Kiran spoke warmly about the support she had received from staff at WPSfG and the positive impact it had on her success.
Continuing her educational journey at Woolwich Polytechnic Sixth Form was a natural next step. Fast forward two years, and Kiran has gone on to make an extraordinary contribution to our community, serving as Head Girl and becoming a role model for younger students.
Today marked another milestone as Kiran opened her A Level results, achieving an outstanding A*AA and securing her place at the University of Oxford, where she will study Philosophy, Politics and Economics.
Adding to the emotion of the day, Kiran's mum surprised her with a beautiful bouquet of flowers as she celebrated this incredible achievement alongside family, friends and staff.
From being part of a historic first GCSE cohort to earning a place at Oxford, Kiran's journey is one of dedication, resilience and ambition. We couldn't be prouder of everything she has achieved and know she will continue to inspire others as she embarks on this exciting new chapter. Congratulations, Kiran!
