It is officially October which means that people around the UK will be celebrating Black History Month. It is a time for people from all backgrounds to celebrate and commemorate moments in history, achievements and contributions that black people have made not only in the UK but across the world.
We have compiled a list of links to interesting and useful resources about Black History Month including upcoming events within London.
PolyMAT is undertaking a project with Funding Solutions for Education. Their established fundraising programme produces branded marketing folders for our schools, completely free of charge whilst generating additional funds across our schools.
This folder project is a fantastic way to build connections throughout our local community. Many local organisations will benefit by supporting the school and placing adverts. By doing so, they help to fund the production of the folders and the schools' income, meaning your marketing folders and funds generated are completely free to the school.

We have just refurbished our lecture theatre here at Woolwich Polytechnic School for Boys, with 109 new seats and new tables this space will be used for Sixth Form lessons as well as extracurricular events.
